Default Blogspot issues

I installed the code with no problems, worked fine. Then, I changed my blog settings to "only these readers" can view it. Ever since, it stopped tracking my visitors. Check the code several times, it's still there, just nor functioning. Any help is much appreciated.

I noticed that once I change the setting in blogspot to "only these readers", statcounter can no longer see/find the statcounter code.

what does it take to get some answers around here? I don't feel like it's that hard of an issue...Do I need to explain it better?

Well, for someone who don't use blogspot it can be difficult to give any advice.

What exactly do you mean with that? Is the code broken?

Have you tried to re-install the counter code, after your change to "only these readers"?

Thanks Arne,
Blogspot has an option to only allow certain readers to access your blog via logging into their gmail account. Once I turn this setting on, statcounter can no longer see the counter code, even though it's still there. I have tried reinstalling the counter code and when I run the check to see if it's found, statcounter is unable to see that the counter code is installed. Even though, the code is present. Once I make my blog public, the code starts working again. I hope that makes more sense, and thank for the reply.

Okay, if you actually can see the counter code on the page(s) source code, I can only imaging that Statcounter has no access to your page(s) after you require a log in to see them. It is the same as for pages within a Intranet that you have to log in to get access.

If there is no way in the settings to allow Statcounter access by default, I don't believe you can get any stats.
Can you set the front page public and the rest accessible after log in? That would at least show stats for that page.
But since everybody who can see the pages must log in, there must be a log who shows when and who has visited the blog?

I was afraid you would say that Unfortunately there is not a way to allow statcounter that I can see. Blogger doesn't give many options...may have to look for a new blog host. Thanks for your help!
