email exit page

On the new statcounter all the exit pages are listed in blue and when I click on them I go to the page in question. However when a guest on my site clicks on a contact link, statcounter shows the relevant email address, (my own), It is shown in blue as an exit link but if I click on it nothing happens. Is this normal with an email link or does it suggest that my email contact links aren't working. I do receive an email if I email myself using a contact link from my site.

Seems normal as that is what happens from my project's "exit links" page. It seems that Statcounter has designed the mailto:myemail@mydomain.com on the exit link's page as non-clickable. It's normal and anyone who is clicking on the contacts from your site are surely going to their default e-mail client. They are just clicking on it and not continuing with sending you the email. It is actually the most popular exit link for my site, and I do get some e-mails via my contact us page.

Thanks very much. I imagined that was the case but thought that I had better check particularly as yesterday I had one visitor who clicked on the contact link three seperate times without actually sending an email.
