Can anyone tell me why statcounter does not track when someone reads your blogs from their cell phones? Right now it is currently only tracking when someone reads through their computer - but does not track if it has been read through a phone. Do you know how to fix this or why this occurs? Thanks!

It most definitely does track a variety of cell phones like iphone, but it depends entirely on the browser and security settings the cell phone has. If thrid party images are disabled then there is no detection, hence no tracking

Thanks for the response. However, I have been testing with my iPhone which has no security settings and statcounter isn't tracking it when I read my blog. I also know of several other friends who have read my blog through their phones and those don't show up either. Is "third party images" something that I can control, or is that related to the third party?

Is your blog hosted on Blogger/Blogspot? There is a separate slimmed-down mobile-friendly template (without the "Edit HTML button"), meaning that the Statcounter modifiction to the layout may simply not be present for mobile visitors.
