Hi I have been using Statcounter for a couple of weeks now and noticed that each time I logon, Statcounter says that I have a different IP address. At the moment I have recorded 5 different IP addresses for my computer, let alone the ones that I don't know about. Obviously, I don't want to sway the results of the stats for my website, so how do I get a fixed IP address for my computer? Can anyone help? (I am not a computer genius |

You cannot get a fixed IP address unless your ISP supports it and you get upgraded. I think only cable can give out fixed IP addresses and only as a premium upgrade.
You'd better use the blocking cookie method instead of the IP address method. Just don't delete the statcounter cookies either automatically or when you use something like Adaware (place them in the ignore list for Adaware).
