Is it possible to be able to count how often files are downloaded off of my website?

It will be possible with StatCounter with the Advanced StatCounter Project.
But for tracking file downloads what you need is a web log analyzer. That's what they are good for. StatCounter is good for tracking real visitors to your websites. |

you could modify the link to download to an interim html page with a counter on it.. yea.. another click needed by the user, but it will register as a count hit.....
just an idea (band aid solution)... Miles |

Just a suggestion (hope this is allowed) but the service I'm currently using is:
http://www.downloadcounter.com It's a reasonable, if very basic, service. Only problem is the 5 second redirect on the free accounts |
