Hi guys
We use list's (<UL <OL and <LI ) on some of our sites and these lists contain Key words , do the spiders and bots find these ?? , we have a funny feeling they dont rank them as content Any other peeps have ideas ?? Rich |

They should go through any text that sits between[*] and , no reason why not.

Look at the pages in a Lynx viewer which sees things in pretty much the way that most bot viewers see it. You should see that lists look pretty much as you'd expect.[list=1] and <ul> are both part of the original html spec.
But would the search engines devalue text in such links? Hmm. I can't think of any reason for them to do that. Unlike header tags and a few other things, I haven't heard of much misuse stemming from lists. |
