Default Adding Counter to MIVA Pages

I tried to search the posts to see if this has come up before but couldn't find what I was looking for. I just added a Miva cart to my site CAFECOSA - www.cafecosa.com and I want to add the StatCounter to all my Miva pages. Does this work? Will it break my cart?

Any help/feedback would be appreciated! Thanks so much.

What kind of software is MIVA? What is it written in and are you hosting it yourself or is it remotely hoestd? To what extent are you able to customize it? Can you add any html code to it?

Default Miva

Miva is a module based shopping cart. I am able to customize it (to some extent) and I can add HTML to the pages. I guess I will just try it and see what happens!

I tried it -- the problem is that when I add the script, the page becomes "unsecure" which is a red flag to many people who shop online.

Any suggestions?

Oh, you have to generate the correct Statcounter code. You probably missed that, but it does do an https version.

Go back through Install Code and on the page where you select the type of code you need, at the bottom, no headline, you have the options for a secure connection which you can check in addition to the other options you picked.

Default New Code

Thanks Chris!

One question before I go and do that -- does generating new code mean that I have to place the new code on all my pages or just the new https pages?

The htpps code should go on the https pages would be my best guess.

I don't have a secure site myself to try this with though.

You'll find out soon enough what works and what doesn't anyway. Only 2 choices
