Default outlook express settings

Hi,
I am wanting to set up my outlook or outlook express settings so that every message I send out to someone will also automatically send a copy to myself at another email address. Does anyone know it this is possible in either of the mail clients?

Cheers Alison.

I don't see any such option in OE. I don't have Outlook here, only at work, but I don't remember such an option.

You could make it a habit of always adding the other address in a cc or bcc.

Yes, I would just add it in the bcc if it was for me but it is for my partner, he is lucky if he manages to get the correct address for the person he is sending it to!

Thanks.

I can't find anything except for this shareware solution. It has a 30-day free trial. http://www.tucows.com/preview/334817

Might be interesting but again I'm kind of weary to add any automatic stuff like this, it might mess up more than it solves.

I had added something for Paypal invoicing that plugs into OE - had a whale of a time getting rid of it after that.

If you have the full version of outlook you can setup a rule to handle this. Go into tools > rules wizard... > new > start from a blank rule > check messages after sending > next > sent to people or distribution list... You should be able to figure it out from there.

In outlook express have the eamil address of the person you email often in a Contact Group. Put your own email address (or any other) in that contact group too. Call the contact group the email address of the primary recipient so they don't know.

Everytime you sent done to them you get one too.
