Default using Statcounter with xoops templates

My website was created using templates from xoops. I want to integrate Statcounter, but not sure how. I'm not a webmaster, but my site was set up so I can easily make text changes, but I can't cut and paste the statcounter code in the place field where the text goes.

I'm currently without someone to advise or assist me with my site, so any help or advice is appreciated.

Thanks!

You have to modify the template itself.
I recommend you refer to the documentation for Xoops - it must have come with the installer package.

Find a footer segment and edit the source code for that.

If you cannot download and upload files by FTP (or edit them from a control panel of the website) I'm afraid we cannot help you.

You could open a support ticket and support staff could eventually fix the site as long as you give them access details.

Thanks for your response!

Unfortunately, I can't modify the templates, which I suspect means I may not be able to use StatCounter.

I've posted in the xoops help forum, in the hopes that someone there with more familiarity with the templates can help.

Thanks again!
