Default 'Recent came From'...

Hi,
the 'recent came from' feature isn't working on one of my stats pages. Any ideas why? it's working on another site. well, i'm just perplexed!!!!

i'm also curious as heck too as have made it to the final round of the canadian blogging awards...the suspence is killing me!!! wordpress has a stats feature but it's not comprehensive like statcounter is.

i like the 'recent came from' best as it tells me what other bloggers are coming to my site or where the referrals were.

For the site in your profile you are using the html-only version of the code.

Actually you started out with the javsacript as well but only got the first script in (which defines the variables), missed the second one that actually does the work, then directly to what should have been the <noscript> portion but you lost the noscript tag along the way.

Bottom line is no url information will ever get logged that way, neither page visited, nor referrer.

does this mean i will have to re-register the site and copy some other code?

Not re-register, but find the currently inserted code, remove it and generate a new copy and paste it all in properly.

In Worpress maybe you need to work in the source code, at the level of the template or php footer scriptor whatever. I don't think you cna just add it in as you would add text content - it would end up stripping a lot of your code then.

I think there's a post about how to add the code to wordpress.

well, i had a gander at the wordpress post but it didn't really tell me much more. there is a suggestion of not using the html code and using java, however when i have looked for java script options i can't find any.....unless perhaps i should click 'use frames' then the html option and 'next' ....will that bring up a java option?

this is confusing.
