Default Wikipedia external links go nofollow ...

Wikipedia is now setting external links as nofollow, so Google won't pass value from those links. You will still get traffic from Wikipedia if you have a link there, but it will no longer help you in your SERPs.

It's their new strategy to combat link spamming that has gone on there for awhile. This is good news for those of us who are competing against sites with Wikipedia links and bad news for those who currently have Wikipedia links.

P.S. Wikipedia is considered an authority site, so a link from them used to be like gold. Especially considering you can get a link on a page that is targeted content to you site (Google loves authority sites and relevant content).

" I am only as faithful as my options!"

All men should be forced to buy this from your site and stick it right on their foreheads
