I get some really strange searches like that too. Kinda makes one wonder about some of the creatures in this world.

What is really strange is that there were 111,000 results!

Probably not for that whole sentence?
The hit for Sharron's site was because the words "german shepherd", "playing" and "guitar" was found, even if there is no connection. Those words are found on many sites, but probably not so many others have them on the same page (or site). Others may have "cartoon" and/or "photos" only, so they are probably on the last page of the list of 111.000 results.

Much also seems to depend on what "weight" is assigned to the search term/word. As example, the words county and Texas seem to have more weight than the word Collin in Google. A search for Collin County Texas shows about 5 of the first 10 results have nothing of the word Collin in them. But all have the word county and Texas in them. I would guess that German Shepherd carries weight. Of course, I guess the search engine makes a difference too. But who knows ... or is willing to tell?

Default So satisfying

Like Sharron and many others, I also have lots of hits from unexpected search terms but occassionally I get a hit from someone not quite using the correct phrase, but still finding exactly what they were looking for. This search in particular is one of the most satisfying I've had for quite some time.

It does show that Goole still needs work to make it geo specific.
