I just finished watching a C.B.C. special on spam and spammers. I knew that it was a problem; but I had not realized just how big a problem it was. In an interview with an AOL researcher it turns out that AOL handles around 500 million legit e-mails a day, and about 4 times that number of spam. Also with tougher laws in the US the spammers are popping up in Canada. I think that maybe us Canadians who have an interest in a legit web need to be on the backs of our MP's as much as possible.

apparently bill gates has 6 full time employees screening his emails because he get so much spam, i think he gets an average of 20,000 a day, his address is really simple to work out something like billgates [ at ] microsoft.com, but even so 20,000 a day i think i would just lose my temper swear a lot then change my email address
