Default My flops are fantastic, these flops are frightening!

Be Warned pictures of "sick feet" on the website. May make some people squemish. (Didn't me though)

Good thing flop weather is over around here. Was emailed this flip flop story. Checked it out on snopes, is true!

All I can say is, I'm glad I stick with plain ole solid color flops.

What I can't believe is the sheer number of people that had this problem. Walmart has really left themselves open to a class action suit.

I know. I'd be interested to know how it turns out.

And I want to take this opportunity to apologize - sorry sorry sorry sorry sorry sorry - for suggesting you go to Walmart to buy new flip-flops when your old ones fell apart.

What amazes me is every product sold here in Aus (and I think in your countires too) has a country of origin sticker: Made In China (etc).

Well?

Whose to blame?

Greedy little customers who want to save 10 cents and buy from China instead of a local company where they employ local people, supporting the local community, providing for roofs over the heads of our neighbours.

I thought all women wore shoes that do that to their feet!

"These shoes are killing me" is the first thing women say when they get home and sit down.

I thought they bought shoes because they were pretty, not because they fit. "so what they are two sizes too small, they look nice so I'll squeeze into them one way or another".

Mark, I don't think it is a matter of greedy little customers. I think it the fact that customers buy what is placed in front of them for sale.

I don't know where you can go to buy just "made locally" products do you?

Do you look at every single label on every single item you purchase? I certainly don't.

I sure do! Every item! I even ask when its not obvious - usually in supermarkets fruit and vege section - imported produce, fish from the slime of the Mekong river, Vegs grown on toxic land fill in 3rd world countries with no restriction on toxic sprays. Orange juice Concentrate dumped from brazil and label Fresh squeezed when Aussie farmers are cutting down their orchards because the wholesale prices are too low.

Oh, yes, I inspect my labels!

hm, well good for you then. I don't inspect labels and I don't go grocery shopping! lol My husband does that 9.5 times out of 10. As I don't want to spend the money or waste the gas to drive into town when he is there for work already. Sometimes we do it together though. But only if we are going to make a date out of it, dinner and grocery shopping what fun!
