Would there be anything wrong in this:
A seperate section is set up on a forum. The members of that forum, invite members of their other forums (if they have any others) to join or add comment to the aforementioned section. Those forums set up a seperate section also. And so on. N.B. It would be for non-commercial purposes but I have a specific reason in mind. |

Not sure what you mean.
Are saying set up a section on a forum where people can advertise their own forums, and in return they set up an advertising section on their own forums. |

No, its basically to harness a lot of people to the same cause.
So if you put a thread on here, you may get 200 views. If each of those viewers were members of 1 or more forums and they each get 200 people to contribute to the first forum you would have a large number of people interested in some way to a common subject. |
