Default Why Linux is better

When someone mentions switching to Linux, people generally want a short simple explanation covering the reasons for switching or not switching. Sadly it is not that easy and some people should not switch. However I feel everyone should be aware that they have a choice and that it is not hard. There are a lot of people that feel as I do and they have done some great work to help those interested to see the advantages of switching. There is a lot of information explaining reasons for switching and will take quite some time to absorb it all, but I feel it is worth it. This post is written to help spread that information which can be seen at.....

Thumbs up Nice Site, similar to what I am doing.

I like your site. Very graphical and likely to grab the novice's attention. The items I looked at seem logically and concisely presented and the explanation of fragmentation is the simplest and clearest I have read. Does this analogy hold true for NTFS?
I looked at your reference, but not reading French I didn't find any discussion of the issue.

I have just started a blog that also tries to present the advantages of Linux. I don't intend to make it exclusively oriented to new Linux users, but I felt the explanations of the advantages and choices available were the place to start.

Out of curiosity I have statcounter on it and my other website:

Anyway, nice work. Best of luck.
PS: I like your music too.

Sorry about the duplicate post. The forum didn't seem to take it the first time, but I guess it did.

First off it is not my site though I wish it was. I felt the same way when I found that site.

I am sure it does not since in the magazines there is still a lot of advertising for disk fragmentation software for even Vista.[/quote]
