I just installed the counter a week ago and I think it is great. Is there a way to see how much time a viewer spends on the site or on a page?

Hi
The time spent on your site is calculated from the time stamp on the first page load, to the last page load. If they only load the first page they land on, and do not refresh or load another page with the code, you cannot determine how long they were looking at that page. They may have just hit the back button, or they could have read the page for several minutes. Their is no way to determine the length of time. This happens frequently on blog type sites where most of the content is on the home page. Richard |

Thanks Richard,
With blogspot, I guess I can but a stat on each post. Currently I have 22 posts on that blog. I am learning alot by playing with this. |

Don't put the code in posts. You should put the tracking code in your template.
It will be shown for each page. Of course if all your posts are on a single page that not only makes for very long pages but prevents you from seeing any navigation as there wouldn't be any.
