We have a website that is 100% ajax driven which means that we only have 1 index page. The other pages are actually more like controls that are pulled in within a region of the page and the header, footer and menus just sit there. This means they never leave the index.php page throughout their visit.
I'm trying to get the statcounter to register for other pages(controls) that are opened up and wondering if anyone else has tackled this task? Thanks, glenn |

Hi
I'm no expert here, but the only one available at this moment. I believe if you place the code in a footer that is common for all page loads, the counter should work. Your url will not change, thus be of no value in your stats, but your page titles should be available. |

Thanks, its not quite that simple though. The footer is only loaded once ever unless you physically hit refresh. Ajax is quite different and more efficient than the old way of reloading new pages...
I had to download the js file from the stat counter server and write my own function so that I could physically call it when my controls load. I have that part working and am current dissecting the code to figure out how to get it to register the individual controls now. Was just wondering if there was an easier way. Thanks, glenn |
