Default Exit Links showing my site

SC4 stats show "collincountystation. com/melissapics.html" and one other as Exit Links. Shouldn't do that since these are my pages.

For those that will jump in and tell me about the "Show external links only" option, note that this is *Exit Links*, not "Exit Pages".

Also, I have a tracker on one link from my site. Today it registered a click, but that click is not in the Exit Links. The clicked link would be "http://collincountystation. com/ccount/click.php?id=2" and should be an exit link. It might not register as an exit link and that is understandable.

So there you have my discrepancies and bugs for the moment.

Hi Frank,

Thanks for the feedback.

An exit link is detected if the domain name of a website a visitor is currently visiting, is different to the domain name of the link they click. Let me explain with an example.

You were getting the melissa page recorded as an exit link because of google's cached copy of your site here

http://64.233.183.104/search?q=cache...ient=firefox-a

Some visitor was on that page, and then clicked a link to http://collincountystation.com/melissa.html and because the domain collincountystation.com was different to 64.233.183.104 it was recorded as an exit link.

We'll see what we can do about fixing this problem.

The link http://collincountystation.com/ccount/click.php?id=2 won't be counted as an exit link as there is no way for us to know it is going to an external website. It looks like it is another link to a page on http://collincountystation.com
