Hi Missey,

Welcome to the StatCounter forum

If you link to a download (such as a picture, pdf, excel sheet etc) on your website; the download activity will tell if you anyone is clicking on these links to download them!

I hope that helps explain it for you.

When you put something on the web it's publicly accessible and thus fair game for everybpdy to read it, download it, save it. If you don't want that, don't post it to a publicly accessible website.

Missey posed a relevant and clearly worded question. Your replies are both:

a) Rude
b) Inarticulate

You people have a lot to learn about:

a) Coding
b) Customer support

You should be ashamed of yourselves.

Hi Missey - is there something that you are still not clear on? Please do let us know if Aodhan didn't fully answer your query.

Webado was only trying to explain what can happen when you posts pics etc online - you would be AMAZED Missey - some people who ask us questions really don't understand the implications of posting online etc. If you are NOT one of these newbies, please don't be offended by Webado's basic explanation!

Slob - I'm surprised you're still here considering your low opinion of us - thought you had moved on long ago?

I completely dispute your claims above! Our replies are rude and inarticulate? I can't see how a welcome can count as rude!

I am not ashamed of anything.

Some things need to be said without beating around the bush if they are to convey the proper meaning and if the person is to learn anything useful.

You seem to have contributed nothing useful so far.

And I am wondering where the idea that any of us need to learn about coding comes from? What do you know that we don't know? I'm curious.
