Default Can I use statcounter on a page created for me NOT on my website?

Hi. I am new to this. I want to set up a page on the justgiving website as I want to do a charity event.

However, is it nossible, once a page has been created on just giving, to put statcounter behind this page to track visitors, in the same way as you can on your own web pages? I would not use it to track spam of course, but would want to know that genuine people are donating.

Please advise.

Thanks.

Only those who has the right to access to create or edit the page code can add the counter on it. If you don't have that, you need to ask those who have it if they can do it for you. If they do it for you, you can just mail them the counter code.

So how do I get a code to send to them if they will do it? If I registere with Statcounter, do I have ONE code to put into any webpage that I wish that is mine? Thanks.

Register an account on the main page and then when logged in you create a new project. When you have the project, you get the code from the "Install Code and Customise Project Settings" page's "Install Code" link.

Yes, the same code can be added to any page you like to use it on. You can also create more projects for other sites within the same account. One code for all pages within the same site is preferable. The page that is yours on others server (or site) can have the same or different project (code) as your own pages, it's up to you.
