Fatal Error When activating Stat Counter

Fatal error: Call to undefined function stats_get_option() in /home/content/58/5547258/html/wp-content/plugins/official-statcounter-plugin-for-wordpress/StatCounter-Wordpress-Plugin.php on line 37

I can no longer log into my WP dashboard. There was a message telling me that there was a newer version of Statcounter, so I click on the activate button.

Now all I get is the message above when trying to log into my WP account.

I can see my webpage fine Hotelslines.com but can no longer log in. How can I fix this?

I'm so sorry Hotels.

It looks like you installed an OLD version of the plugin that is NOT working.

You installed version 1.1. (That one is NOT working correctly)

You need instead to install version 1.2. (This is the latest version)

You can get this latest version here.

Just repeat the process to upload the LATEST plugin to your server and overwrite the OLD plugin. When you do this, you will be able to log in to your dashboard again and your StatCounter will begin working.
