Default Summary vs Recent Visitor Activity

Hey all,

So I've been checking recent visitor activity lately to get an idea of where in the world most of my visitors are coming from. I was checking out my summary and it was saying I had 10 unique visitors today (new site low ...) however, it said that I had a reoccurring visitor, and I knew where a friend of mine lived so I thought it might be him, I loaded up recent visitor activity, and I noticed a HUGE difference. It only accounted for 5 unique visits, when summary said 10?? Then I looked and none of the recent visitor activity said that there was a returning visitor, yet the summary said there was one.

My google analytics page is garbage as it said I had no visits yesterday yet I had 40+ according to stat counter...

So I'm now really confused and worried that none of my stats are the actual status of my site, and I'm either doing alot better or alot worse than I think.... any idea why this is going on?

If the visitors doesn't allow cookies, every one fo their page loads will be counted as a new unique visitor in the summary stats.

In recent Visitor activity hits are grouped by IP, so each IP's hits looks like hits from all the same visitor (and likely are).
