Exclamation Stat Counter Not showing Accurate Hits

Webiste: www.curbappealconcepts.com
I have pasted xhtml code into the head tags of my site.master page for the stat counter.
This site was built with Visual Studio 2010 in C# ASP.NET
I dont know if any of this matters just wanted to be thorough.

Issue:
AW stats and Stat Counter was working properly until the beginning of october when all of a sudden they dropped to zero and havent portrayed accurate hits since then. I am having no error codes so the hosting company cannot handle the issue. I was getting about 50 hits a day with an average site time of 12 minutes then it went to 8 hits this month so far with site time of 30 seconds...I have no idea what the issue is. I have sent people to the site and counted the hits, my hosting company is also saying they see more hits than what is showing, but no one can find the issue.
Has anyone else had this problem? Do i need a particular code for asp sites?
Is my stat code in the right place? Nothing was changed when it dropped to zero....i have personally visited the site 5 times today from different computers and as of this posting its showing zero....
Please help.

P.S. I am having this issue wth all three sites under the same hosting account

Hi

I'm surprised it works at all!

It is corrupted, AND it's in the <head> section.

It must be between the <body> & </body> in the page source.

To take advantage of the Exit link feature it must be placed after any links you wish to track.

Remove it and start again.

It can happen that the code gets corrupted in the copy & paste process.

Copy from your browser and paste into a text editor like Notepad, THEN copy from there and paste into your plug-in or widget or source code.
