Hi! I'm using statcounter for years, and I'm very satisfied with it.
One thing that's bothering me from the beginning is the mistake in the code that statcounter generates, and hope you will change this mistake for future users, but also for us regular ones. In the code image is shown like this: <img src="http://c.statcounter.com/4399289/0/090d5947/1/" alt="statistics in vBulletin" border="0"> and because of the missing closing tag for image that code is not passing validation. It should be writen like this: <img src="http://c.statcounter.com/4399289/0/090d5947/1/" alt="statistics in vBulletin" border="0"/> with the ending tag (/). Hope you will change this soon. Regards, Hrvoje Kunović, Web dessein. |

If you have an XHTML doctype declaration for your pages and choose the XHTML version of the code it will be valid, including the ending slash.
Now you can just add the slash manually, so you don't need to generate a new code if you initially selected the wrong option. Last edited by Arne; 01-04-2011 at 12:51 PM. |
