We are running radio spots and using different URLs for different stations and spots, to track performance.
Wondering how StatCounter handles the following: * A redirect from DreamHost from MarketingURL.com > target site * A redirect from DreamHost to a Goo.gl URL, which then redirects to the target site Would the redirects be picked up in the stats? If not, what's the recommended method of tracking redirects? I could set up separate pages with redirects and track that way, but certainly fewer moving parts if I can detect the above redirects. Thanks. |

Depends on the header the redirect throws. If it throws a 301 the original referrer will usually be preserved and show in your stats. If you want to show me a sample of each, I can check it for you.
