Default changing and watching the displayed counter easily

Hello all,

Is it possible to change the displayed counter easily? I didn't find any way to do it. Moreover, is it possible to see the counter? I always need to create a blocking cookie and then to go to my web page to see the counter. The problem with this is that sometimes I forget to create the cookie and then I see that I raised the counter "artificially" and I want to delete this entry.

Suggestion: to create by default a blocking cookie each time one logs into StatCounter.

Thanks in advance!

Creating a blocking cookie every time somebody visits their Statcounter stats may not be what everybody wants.

You can change the value displayed by the counter for either hits or visitors from Configure Counter (click the wrench icon, then click Configure)

You cannot delete any hits, they will roll out eventually as the log fills and rolls over. Or you can reset the entire counter back to zero and erase the entire history.

You donīt need to create a blocking cookie everytime. The blocking cookie will remain in your browser unless something in your system clear it.

No need to visit your site to see the counter either. You have the stats page.

And last, if you dont want to log to your StatCounter account, you can make your stats (Summary-only/Full Detailled) publicly available, and have a link to them.
You will find this options in the wrench webado told you about (looks more like a bone for your dog than a wrench ).

And last of all, check that page in the future, cause as they say

"Check back soon: there will also be a new, simpler version of this public stats link available shortly!"
So, thereīs more to come on the way we can acces our stats. Stay tunned

cheers
