I statcounter faster than GA?

Hello,

Am new here and new to statcounter as well. I have a simple page that already has GA installed. I am considering installing statcounter as speed is a highly important factor for me but I can not imagine if changing the two analytics softwares can save any of my load time. Anybody did change these two and has any best advice or experience to share? Did you earn any load time?

Anytime you start adding code to a page, it'll slow things down, but with Statcounter, your only talking milli-seconds. Probably just as fast/slow as GA.
