Make that two of us One of my projects is not recording hits either. I know for a fact that it has had 10 visitors today. What's up? Pat Hamm http://www.vintagecostumejewelryaddiction.com

No new stats for a few hours

Me Either I haven't gotten anything since around 11am EDT on one of my sites in spite of the fact that I have had 25 visitors since then. The other site seems to be recording fine. What's up with that? Granny

    All pages not being counted

It is hard to read but there are no duplicates, although some pages were visited more than once which is very common for a vintage jewelry website. Statcounter just quit logging before the visitor left the site. On my other website I am using two other statistics services besides...

    All pages not being counted

To Webado: This website is fairly new so it isn't getting a lot of traffic (less than 100 page view most days). There is absolutely no chance that they had rolled off the log since I did the checking less than 5 minutes after the visit. To Arne: Here are some of the pages it missed...

    All pages not being counted

The missing page views are not in Recent Pageload Activity either.

    All pages not being counted

Actually I was looking at visitor paths.

    All pages not being counted

I have noticed that Statcounter is not capturing all pages visited for several visitors the most recent being just a few minutes ago. I have a live customer service function on my site that logs each page visited so I am able to compare with Statcounter. On this most recent case the visitor...

    Advanced StatCounter Project

Chris, while it is a separate product, it it one that, from the beginning, we have been told that paying members would be automatically upgraded to, so there is no misunderstanding on my part. That has been the reason I continued to pay. As for Ethan, sticking your nose into something that...

Gotcha! Cookie bug :-) - Not a bug - an internet limitation - discoveries

Christina, if you are only checking your stats every hour your browser window is indeed inactive for the duration between checks. Statcounter admin pages don't refresh your browser window automatically every time a visitor comes to your site. I wasn't speaking of inactivity on your site! Granny

Gotcha! Cookie bug :-) - Not a bug - an internet limitation - discoveries

Christina, I don't think it's a cookie bug. You get logged off because of inactivity. When I first signed up you would be logged off after about 10 minutes...I complained and I think the limit is about 30 minutes now. If you're only checking every hour you would be logged off every time...

    Advanced StatCounter Project

Has the promised beta testing started yet? If so, when can those of us who have been paying for well over a year, be seeing the promised upgrade to Advanced Statcounter take place? I think we have been more than patient, but speaking for myself, my patience is nearing it's end. If beta...

    Opt Out

Wrong Chris Christina. The original poster's name is Chris.

    Opt Out

Chris, I'm curious as to why you would want to give your visitors that option. You aren't collecting any identifyable info about them and it would make the stats you receive from Statcounter totally meaningless.

    Advanced StatCounter Project

I must agree. All we get, when we get anything at all, are promises. It has gotten extremely old! I love what I get now, but I would not have continued paying $9 a month for it without the promise of this illusive Advanced Statcounter that I would automatically be upgraded to. I've been...
