We did a website 7 years ago and added statcounter (of course). The person who's email we used is no longer at that company and the email account no longer exists. The statcounter login is no longer a valid username/pw combination. If I ask to reset the pw, the reset link is sent to a no longer existing email address.

Is there any way to change the password at this point? Or do I need to register a new statcounter user and replace the code on the website (and lose all the history)?

    Thank you!

The user id and password for logging into the Statcounter account do not become invalid if the email address no longer exists. Sounds like somebody changed the password and you don't have the new one.
You should create a Statcounter account yourself and then open a support ticket and see what the staff may be able to do.

I do have an account for our own web designer website. I will submit a ticket through that login. Thanks.
