Apologies folks.

There is a network problem in one of our Data Centres which is currently impacting our service.

We're in contact with the DC to resolve as quickly as possible - we'll keep you posted.

15 minutes and the network issue is ongoing in our DC.

We've begun to move all tracking to our back up DC to minimise any loss of stats.

Our main website remains offline, but we're working to ensure we continue to track your stats via our back up DC.

The network problem appears to be resolved in our datacenter - we're waiting confirmation and explanation.

All services should be restored now. Thanks to our back up datacenter, very little data was lost during this outage of about 50 minutes.

There will be a slight delay in stats reported while the data is transferred from the back up datacenter to the main datacenter.

Apologies for any inconvenience.

This outage was related to a power loss within the datacenter. This knocked some of their networking gear offline which in turn knocked the main StatCounter site offline. Thankfully due to our back up datacenter taking over the visitor tracking, very little visitor data was lost during this 50 minute outage.

Apologies once again for any inconvenience caused by this.
