I'm not sure if this is the right plugin for me. All I need is a plugin that will add a "Seen nnn Times" line to my pages.
I did the installation and I see the StatCounter in the plugins list + StatCounter Admin in the menu.

So, what do I have to do now?

BTW, I'm using Sahifa, is that a problem for the StatCounter?

Tnx

If you choose the visible counter option, you just add the "Seen" before and "Times" after the counter your self.

It is possible that some (new) wordpress themes don't work well with the plugin. If you have a self hosted (you pay the host) you can use the default code and add it manually, instead of using a plugin. That's always the best option.

What installation and plugin list etc. are you talking about?
It is easier to help, you if you help us with more info and details. Now I have to guess again. Do you have a Statcounter account on http://statcounter.com ?

I don't know much about Wordpress and even less about the theme you are using. But generally, of course you need the counter code to your pages.

Perhaps the plugin is there to be used to add the counter code, if it is part of the theme. Perhaps the counter is there already, but in the invisible mode.

So start by checking the page source (html) code and see if you can find "statcounter" (without the quote marks) there. If you find it, then you need change to the visible option.

Yes I have an account and I can see the Stat's there.
The code in the html (I only changed the sc_security here):

<!-- Start of StatCounter Code -->
<script type="text/javascript">
<!--
var sc_project=9895789;
var sc_security="xxxxxxxx";
//-->
</script>
<script type="text/javascript" src="http://www.statcounter.com/counter/counter_xhtml.js"></script>
<noscript><div class="statcounter"><a title="web analytics" href="http://statcounter.com/"><img class="statcounter" src="http://c.statcounter.com/9895789/0/xxxxxxxx/0/" alt="web analytics" /></a></div></noscript>
<!-- End of StatCounter Code -->

The code looks just fine, so there should not be any problem with the counting.
I can also see there is a zero here:
"http://c.statcounter.com/9895789/0/xxxxxxxx/0/"
That means the numbers should be visible. But I don't see that "var sc_visible=0;" line with the project and security "var sc" lines. I'm not sure it is needed any more since I added my codes. I have to check that.
