I am seeing warnings in Google Chrome re statcounter cross browser code, and that it could be slowing down loading of each page.
This topic has been raised many times in this and other forums re statcounter.
In the statcounter help is advice on this: https://forum.statcounter.com/threa...-e-different-etld-1-script.44170/#post-261123
posted by statcounter Administrator, with an async version of the code.
The suggestion here is to include this in the Wordpress plugin, either as default or with a checkbox to select this method, and also to ensure its inserted at the bottom of the page.
For now I have to add yet another plugin to be able to add code to the website.

Please get in touch with me at support (at) statcounter dot com and I can change your Wordpress plugin so it supports async.
